More concerning is how the controller feels. And while we're on the subject of aesthetics, even controllers in the good colors don't look as good to me as the opaque plastic of the official controllers, though I hope I'm correct in assuming you don't care about the appearance of something you won't be looking at 99.99% of the time you're using it. In this case, be aware right off the bat that Best Buy's website does not allow you to select which color you want (unlike several other sites I've looked at it on I used Best Buy primarily because I had a gift card), which you're likely to regret in the event that, like me, the controller you end up with is colored pink. However, I would be remiss in my reviewing duties if I did not share a few very minor issues. Suffice it to say I'm not at all disappointed. This controller is about half the price of the official brand, and after seeing it being rated nearly as highly as the official one across multiple websites - whereas all other discount controllers received significantly inferior reception - I went with Rock Candy as my purchase.
I've long wanted a controller after making the long-overdue switch to PC gaming, having grown highly accustomed to using them on consoles over the years.
